Hi!
I’m Sander van de Ven, a person who just really loves to take pictures. It all started with my love for sneakers, as I wanted to make cool photo’s to share with the world. The more I took these photo’s, the more I came obsessed with capturing an image that I could just stare at for ages.
Naturally, I wanted to learn more about photography. I spend a lot of time on fora, internet and was looking for courses that could help me grow as a photographer. Until one day, someone said to me “why don’t you just explore the method in which photography initially started?” She implied the analog method of shooting film. Funny enough, my lovely girlfriend actually gifted me one for my birthday. The Minolta X-500 35mm camera.
And this is where passion grew into love. The ability to capture a moment in time with just the basics was something I just couldn’t stop doing.
Nowadays I put this love into all of my work. I just love to put emotion and aesthetics in all my work that I put out. It doesn’t matter if it’s event photography, fashion photography, portraits or commercial work. I just love making pictures.
